PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship and a method for reducing a sludge deposition amount of the ship in which the amount of sludge depositing in corners of brackets positioned perpendicularly to partition walls can be decreased, and the amount of the sludge landed in the docking can be reduced, and thereby the time and processing cost required when the sludge is unloaded and processed in land equipment can be reduced.SOLUTION: Openings 16a are provided in the corners consisting of partition walls 11 etc. and bottom plates 15 in a portion or all of brackets 16 provided at the corners between the partition walls 11 etc. and the bottom plates 15 inside of a cargo oil tank, in a ship of loading and carrying a crude oil in the cargo oil tank, without setting up heating pipes around the entire bottom of the cargo oil tank. Also, heating pipes 20 are provided at the corners between the partition walls 11 etc. and the bottom plates 15 through the openings 16a or to the vicinity of the openings 16a. |
