PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device that can improve the efficiency of use of light.SOLUTION: A light source device includes: a phosphor layer 33 that includes a side face 33b, a bottom face 33c, and an upper face 33a opposite to the bottom face 33c; a reflection member 32 that is opposite to the side face 33b of the phosphor layer 33; a substrate 31 that is provided on the bottom face 33c side of the phosphor layer 33; and an adhesive 34 that bonds the phosphor layer 33 and the substrate 31. The substrate 31 has, on a surface on the phosphor layer 33 side, a concave part 31b that overlaps with the reflection member 32 at least on the outside of the phosphor layer 33 in plan view; a portion of the adhesive 34 protruding to the outside of the phosphor layer 33 is stored in the concave part 31b; fluorescent light generated in the phosphor layer 33 is emitted from the upper face 33a and side face 33b. |
