PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device capable of reducing the risk of imparting discomfort to a user even when supply of a power source is cut off during a period from the stop of heating until the restart of heating.SOLUTION: An electric heater 10 includes: a level receiving unit 29b for receiving setting of a heating level; a mode receiving unit 29a for receiving an operation mode; a heater 21 capable of varying output; a temperature sensor for detecting an ambient temperature of the heater 21; and a control unit. The operation mode includes a normal heating mode and a rapid heating mode. The rapid heating mode is the operation mode in which, at the heating start time, the ambient temperature is increased rapidly. The control unit controls the output of the heater 21 according to the operation mode which the mode receiving unit 29a has received. Then, the control unit, in the rapid heating mode, shifts the operation mode from the rapid heating mode to the normal heating mode when an ambient temperature value detected by the temperature sensor has reached a temperature threshold value determined for every heating level. |
