The present invention relates to a composite electrode for a super capacitor based on three dimensional metal hydroxide and a manufacturing method thereof. The composite electrode deposits metal nanoparticles on a contact interface between an active material and a metal plate current collector, thereby being actuated as an assistant current collector firmly and closely coupling the nanoparticles. By reducing contact resistance to enhance conductivity of the electrode and catalytic effect, and to increase an active area, the composite electrode has high specific capacitance and life stability without using an expensive 3D conductive current collector. Particularly, the composite electrode may be manufactured by adding only a simple process of electrically depositing the metal nanoparticles as compared with the conventional electrode, thereby being valuably usable in preparing an energy storage device such as the super capacitor. |
