PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor capable of suppressing the poor fixing of winding, while suppressing an increase in the number of components.SOLUTION: An electric motor 10 is an electric motor of a commutator type, and equipped with a rotator 1 and a stator 2. The rotator 1 is equipped with a rotation shaft 7, a core 8, two insulation plates 25, winding 31, and a commutator 9. The core 8 is attached to the rotation shaft 7 by pressing-in. On the core 8, a plurality of core recessed portions 81 are formed so as to align in a circumferential direction of the rotation shaft 7. The plurality of core recessed portions 81 extend in parallel with the rotation shaft 7. On a surface 26 of the insulation plate 25, a projecting portion 251 is provided. The insulation plate 25 is equipped with four projecting portions 251a-251d. The projecting portion 251a and the projecting portion 251b which have generally the same shapes in a plane view are provided on the opposite sides to each other across the rotator 1. The projecting portion 251c and the projecting portion 251d which have generally the same shapes in a plane view are provided on the opposite sides to each other across the rotator 1. |
