PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower such a frequency dependence that ejection speed of a droplet ejected from a nozzle 6 is changed in accordance with a drive frequency.SOLUTION: A drive waveform includes a drive pulse Pz which has a pulse width of Tz and is located on the last of one period, a drive pulse Py which is contained in one period and is located before the drive pulse Pz and an auxiliary pulse Ph located between the driving pulse Py and the driving pulse Pz, in the drive waveform applied to a driving wall 5 when the drive wall 5 constituting a pressure chamber 3 is deformed and a droplet is ejected from a nozzle 6 communicated with a pressure chamber 3. Therein, the auxiliary pulse Ph has a pulse width, of 0.2 to 0.4 Tz and an interval between a terminal of the auxiliary pulse Ph and a start end of the driving pulse Pz is 0.4 to 0.6 Tz. |
