SYSTEM FOR RECOVERING BULLET WARHEADS AT INDOOR SHOOTING RANGES FOR FIRING WITH LIVE AMMUNITION

The present invention relates to a system to recover bullets at an indoor shooting range, comprising: a gun firing position (5); a target plate (70); a bullet collecting device (10); a filler replacing device (10); and a recovering device (40). The gun firing position (5) allows a bullet (6b) to be fired from a gun (6a) with live ammunition. The target plate (7) is installed and spaced from the gun firing position (5) at a first distance, and has a target displayed on or attached to the target plate (7). The bullet collecting device (10) is positioned on a rear side of the target plate (7), including a plurality of impact absorbing members made of rubber materials to collect the bullet (6b) after being fired from the gun (6a), and has an interior space filled with fillers (13) made of a rubber material having a diameter of 0.1-3 mm. The filler replacing device (20) transfers the bullet (6b) collected by the bullet collecting device (10) together with the rubber fillers (13) to the bullet recovering device (40). The recovering device (40) separates the bullet (6b) and the rubber fillers (13) transferred through the filler replacing device (20) from each other to recover the bullet (6b). According to the present invention, the rubber fillers, which consist of microparticles made of a rubber material with heat resistance and fire resistance and include no lead element, are used as an impact absorbing material such that a bullet can safely be recovered in its nearly original shape. A carrying out/in-automated facility using a vacuum pump and an air blower is used to separate the bullet warhead and restore the fillers to their original state.
