PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a friction loss caused by an oil seal while preventing a leak oil from entering a motor chamber.SOLUTION: A motor & clutch unit M&C/U includes: a motor chamber 2 in which a stator 1a and a rotor 1b of a motor 1 are present; and a clutch chamber 4 which is disposed adjacently to the motor chamber 2 and in which a clutch pack 3 is present. The motor & clutch unit M&C/U also includes: an oil seal 5 which is set between the motor chamber 2 and the clutch chamber 4; and a fan motor controller 7 which controls the quantity of pump air to be sent from a blowing fan 6 to the motor chamber 2. While the clutch pack 3 is in a clutch fastening state, the fan motor controller 7 performs control to increase the quantity of pump air more than that in a clutch releasing state. |
