PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of changing an open time instant of a spring valve of a low price in accordance with the taste of a driver.SOLUTION: A body part 400 of a variable intake valve of the invention comprises a spring 100. When a driver rotates an adjustment tool 320 in accordance with a taste, a spring compression adjusting plate 310 is moved forward by the actions of a plurality of screw grooves 311 and a gear 321 meshing with the former thereby to compress the spring and to move the same to a slot stopper position so that the drive point of the spring for opening and closing the intake valve by its restoring force thereby to make an open time instant variable.
