摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification combustion method of a combustion material, the method that can greatly reduce the discharge of carbon dioxides.SOLUTION: A gasification combustion method of a combustion material is provided for burning the combustion material by using a primary combustion furnace 10. The method includes: a step of adjusting initial temperature in the primary combustion furnace 10 at 800°C or more; a step of supplying oxygen of an amount fewer than a theory ratio when the combustion material is completely burnt or the gas containing the oxygen in the primary combustion furnace 10 at 800°C or more; and a step of supplying the combustion material in the primary combustion furnace 10 at 800°C or more and thermally decomposing the combustion material, and thereby generating unburned gas and generating soot by incomplete combustion. The supply of oxygen or gas containing the oxygen is performed continuously or intermittently while forcibly exhausting the inside of the primary combustion furnace 10 and decreasing the pressure thereof, and thereby the unburned gas and the soot at 1000°C or more are generated and at least a portion of the non-volatile components generated by the thermal decomposition of the combustion material is further subjected to the thermal decomposition and decreased.
