PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed position stop supporting device on a platform capable of exactly transmitting information necessary for fixed position stop to a vehicle operator irrespective of a vehicle type and, moreover, even when supposing the existing railway system, capable of introducing the device at a relatively low cost immediately.SOLUTION: Stop predetermined position information corresponding to a type of a vehicle is read out by referring to a stop predetermined position information storage part based on the type of the vehicle determined by a type determination part and, when the vehicle is located within before and after prescribed range on the neighborhood of a stop predetermined position exhibited by the stop predetermined position information, information which exhibits a relative positional relation between a present position of the vehicle and the stop predetermined position exhibited by the stop predetermined position information is produced and the produced information is transmitted via a visual sense to the operator of the vehicle. |
