PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for peripheral edges of a glass plate and other plate materials, which can process a peripheral edge of a work-piece, even if the work-piece is a curved plate comprising a curved plate surface, with high precision similarly to a flat planar work piece.SOLUTION: Positioning marks on at least two corners A and B of a work-piece, or a curved plate w conveyed to a table 12, are read out and outer shapes of the marks are measured with sensors such as a 3D camera capable of measuring even a distance in an optical axis direction and a 2D camera photographing an upper surface and a side surface of the work-piece so as to measure the positions of the corners of the work-piece and displacement amounts in a height direction of the corners. Using the measured displacement values, conveyance errors of the work-piece are detected, and processing for the peripheral edges is performed while correcting command values in a height direction of a tool on the basis of correction values calculated using the detected conveyance errors, the displacement amounts in the height direction and a shape type of the work-piece registered in a controller in advance. |
