The movement of a bridge slab in a longitudinal direction and a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction depending on an earthquake load can be prevented by arranging a seismic reinforcement bracket for an existing bridge, which has been manufactured to reinforce the seismic performance of the existing bridge, between the girders of the bridge slab. Damage to and an impact load on the bridge slab and the seismic reinforcement bracket for an existing bridge can be reduced by forming a buffering material between the seismic reinforcement bracket for an existing bridge and the bridge slab. Damage to the buffering material can be prevented by forming a reinforcing plate inside the buffering material.
