PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate reduction in a user's convenience that occurs when a function of a communication device is restricted only on the basis of the communication situation of short-range wireless communication between communication devices.SOLUTION: A second determination unit 116 in a relay device 10 determines whether or not a response signal by a communication terminal was received by a second receiving unit 115 within a prescribed time in response to an inquiry signal transmitted to the communication terminal by a second transmitting unit 114. If the second determination unit 116 has determined that the response signal was received within the prescribed time, a function restriction unit 117 does not restrict a data relay function of the relay device 10. On the other hand, if the second determination unit 116 has not determined that the response signal was received within the prescribed time, the function restriction unit 117 restricts the data relay function. |
