PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode manufacturing method capable of removing foreign matters which occur and adhere to an electrode precursor when an active material layer is formed and then a metal foil is cut in an electrode manufacturing process.SOLUTION: An electrode manufacturing method is a method of manufacturing electrodes used for a positive electrode and a negative electrode of a power storage device having an electrode assembly which is configured to have a layer structure while an electrode and a negative electrode which have an active material layer 13 on at least one surface of a metal foil 12 are insulated from each other. The method comprises a coating step of coating active material gent on a band-shaped metal foil 12, a press step of pressing the band-like metal foil 12 coated with the active material agent in the coating step, a cutting step S4 of cutting the band-shaped metal foil 12 after the press step, and a cleaning step S5 of cleaning the cut band-shaped metal foil 12, that is, band-shaped electrode precursors 11a, 11b with acetone. |
