PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set excellent in cleaning property in an ink flow passage and charging property to a recording device.SOLUTION: The ink set includes a cleaning liquid containing a permeation solvent and a surfactant having an HLB value of 10 or less, and an ink composition containing a permeation solvent; and the ink set has such a property that when the cleaning liquid and the ink composition are mixed in equal amounts on a volume basis to obtain a mixture liquid, a separation parameter of the mixture liquid calculated by the formula below is 0.50 or more. In the formula, substances 1, 2, 3, ... represent surfactants having an HLB value of over 10 included in the mixture liquid; and substances a, b, c, ... represent surfactants having an HLB value of 10 or less included in the mixture liquid. |
