PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for dynamo-electric machine which allows for suppression of complication of a refrigerant passage, suppression of increase in pressure loss incident to refrigerant supply, or enhancement of cooling effect.SOLUTION: The rotor 14 for a dynamo-electric machine 10 has a rotor core 22 and an end plate 24. At least one opening 76 for passing refrigerant 300 from refrigerant supply means 12 is formed in the end plate 24. When viewing in the axial direction, the outer peripheral edge of the opening 76 is located radial inside of the outer peripheral edge of a plurality of holes 40 of the rotor core 22. In the surface 82 of the end plate 24 facing the first core end face 60 of the rotor core 22, a recess 78 is formed to extend in the circumferential direction at least on the radial outside of the opening 76. |
