PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress change in address information allocated to a device.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises: an address information storage unit storing therein a relation between a device connected to the information processing apparatus and address information allocated to the device; a first address information allocation unit allocating the address information to the device in accordance with the stored relation if the address information storage unit stores therein the relation at a time of activating the information processing apparatus, and allocating the address information to the device in a predetermined procedure if the address information storage unit does not store therein the information at the time of activating the information processing apparatus; and a corresponding information management unit updating the relation between the device and the address information allocated to the device stored in the address information storage unit if a second address information allocation unit allocating address information that does not overlap the address information allocated to the already connected device allocates address information to a device connected to the information processing apparatus while the information processing apparatus is active. |
