PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo vehicle that can surely detect an obstacle and reduce a load for detecting the obstacle, in detecting the obstacle by using a camera.SOLUTION: A fork lift 1 comprises: a vehicle main body that can travel and can turn; a camera 50 that takes images of an obstacle and a road surface; a region extract portion 62 that extracts a detection target region from images taken by the camera; an obstacle detecting portion 64 that detects the obstacle from the detection target region; and a control portion 71. The region extract portion 62 is configured to be switchable to a first mode in which a plurality of regions arrayed around the vehicle main body in the images taken by the camera are set as the detection target region and to a second mode in which the plurality of regions arrayed around the vehicle main body in the images taken by the camera are set as the detection target region. The control portion 71 controls the region extract portion 62 so that either one of the first mode and the second mode is switched to the other mode according to a turning mode of the vehicle main body 10. |
