PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, there is provided a display device including a first substrate part, a second substrate part, a display layer, and a driving element, the first substrate part having a first substrate, a display part, and a circuit part. The first substrate has a first surface including a display region and a peripheral region. The display part is formed on the display region and has first to third interconnections, a switching element, and a pixel electrode. The circuit part is formed in the peripheral region. The second substrate part has a second substrate and a fourth interconnection. The display layer is formed between the first and second substrate parts. The driving element is formed on the peripheral region and is capable of outputting electric signals to the circuit part. At least a portion of the circuit part is arranged between the driving element and the first substrate. |
