PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress strength degradation when performing deep drawing by stamping molding, in an FRP using a thermoplastic resin as a binder resin.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a resin component for a motor vehicle includes: a first step S1 of heating a fiber-reinforced resin material 30 using a thermoplastic resin and placing it between an upper die 11 (first die) having a projecting part 16 for molding and a lower die 12 (second die) having a recessed part 22 for molding, corresponding to the projecting part 16; a second step S2 of making the upper die 11 (first die) and the lower die 12 (second die) approach each other in a molding direction to sandwich the fiber-reinforced resin material 30 by the projecting part 16 and a movable pad 14 provided in the recessed part 22; and a third step S3 of, while maintaining a state where the fiber-reinforced resin material 30 is sandwiched by the projecting part 16 and the movable pad 14, by moving the movable pad 14 in accordance with the movement of the projecting part 16 in the molding direction, superimposing the upper die 11 (first die) and the lower die 12 (second die) on each other in the molding direction to press mold the fiber-reinforced resin material 30. |
