PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a photo image at timing according to a photographing instruction even if it is not a state in which photographing can be performed at instructed timing.SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 comprises a photographing propriety determination unit 52 and a communication control unit 54. The photographing propriety determination unit 52 determines whether or not the imaging device is in a state in which it can take a photo at timing corresponding to a photographing instruction by operation of the imaging device. The communication control unit 54 controls a communication unit 20 to instruct another imaging device to take a photo at timing corresponding to the photographing instruction if the photographing propriety determination unit 52 has not determined that the imaging device is in a photographing possible state.
