PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can suppress a deterioration of a photoreceptor drum.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a photoreceptor drum, a drum control part that controls the rotation of the photoreceptor drum, a heater that is arranged opposite to a part of the peripheral surface of the photoreceptor drum, and a power source control part. The power source control part returns, during a power-saving mode, the drum control part to a normal mode intermittently for a predetermined period, and the drum control part rotates the photoreceptor drum during the period of the return when the heater is turned on during the period of the return. |
