PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery in which exfoliation of an active material layer and slip drop of an active material can be suppressed.SOLUTION: An electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery has an elongated power collector 32 and an active material layer 34. The power collector 32 has a band-shaped power collector part 36 having no active material layer 34 at at least one of end portions along the longitudinal direction. The active material layer 34 has first composite particles 1 containing a first active material and a first binder, a first part P1 formed in a band-shape along the power collector 36 on the surface of the power collector 32, and second composite particles 2 containing a second active material and a second binder, and a second part P2 formed in an area nearer to the center in the width direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction than the first part P1. Here, the first composite particles 1 are lower in fluidity than the second composite particles 2. |
