PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a unit controlling printers to efficiently acquire information associated with a form of data or the like dealt by the printers.SOLUTION: A terminal device 1 comprises: a communication interface 23 connected to printers 5 and 6 in a communicable manner; and a terminal control section 10 requesting port information indicating a communicable communication port to the printers 5 and 6 by the communication interface 23 and receiving the port information transmitted by the printers 5 and 6 in response to a request. The terminal control section 10 discriminates a form of data capable of being dealt by the printers 5 and 6 on the basis of the port information. |
