PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning blade inhibiting a tip of a cleaning blade from being rolled up, reducing abrasion of a photoreceptor surface and capable of retaining favorable cleaning property over elapse of the time.SOLUTION: A cleaning blade 62 comprises a strip-like elastic blade 622 and comes into contact with a surface of a photoreceptor 2 moving on a surface of a tip ridge part 62c of the elastic blade to remove attachments such as a toner from the photoreceptor surface. The tip ridge part of the elastic blade is impregnated with an ultraviolet-curing resin containing at least acrylate or methacrylate, so that a cross-linked structure is formed on the tip ridge part surface, where an arithmetic average roughness Ra of a contact part is not less than 0.1 μm and not more than 0.3 μm. |
