PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device without restriction on the positions to connect a connecting metal, also capable of reducing a dimension of a door body in the thickness direction.SOLUTION: A connecting device 18 connects a belt 16 for opening/closing a door body, the belt having numerous tooth parts 16a lined up along a longer-side direction on a front surface, and a suspension part 14 that keeps the door body suspended. The connecting device 18 has a connecting metal 37 disposed on the suspension part 14 and a holding member 38 that holds the connecting metal 37 and the belt 16. The holding member 38 has a further-side part 48b located on the belt side and a closer-side part 48a located on the connecting metal side. The connecting metal 37 has an elongate part 42 that functions as an engaging part 46 engaged between adjacent tooth parts 16a. The further-side part 48b is disposed so as to come into contact with a rear surface of the belt 16. |
