PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope for an elevator, which has high compression rigidity and which is hardly deformed or destroyed.SOLUTION: A rope for an elevator comprises a core material 1, and a plurality of side strands 2 twisted on the outer periphery of the core material 1. The core material 1 includes a first resin-molded continuum 3. A first hollow part 3H is formed along an extension direction of the core material 1, in the first resin-molded continuum 3. Thus, the rope for the elevator, which has high compression rigidity and which is hardly deformed or destroyed, can be provided. |
