PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle automatic transmission shift lock control unit capable of suppressing a vehicle from being incapable of moving or an engine from racing at a time of starting the engine.SOLUTION: In a shift lock control unit 74, if an engine 12 is started in a state in which the engine 12 is stopped and a shift position is a parking (P) position, then transmission-preparation-completed-state determination means 120 determines that a transmission-preparation-completed-state determination condition is satisfied and operation on a shift lever 70 from the P position is mechanically prohibited until a gear mechanism 28 and an advancement-reverse switching device 26 forming a second power transmission path enable a vehicle 10 to start running. It is, therefore, possible to suppress the vehicle 10 from being incapable of moving or the engine 12 from racing due to accelerator depressing operation right after the operation on the shift lever 70 from the P position to D, 2, or L position. |
