PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor which has a small installation area, decreases a loss, and is excellent in productivity.SOLUTION: A reactor includes: a coil 2 which has a pair of winding portions 2a and 2b spirally wound with winding 2w side by side; and a magnetic core 3 which has a U-shaped core piece 32m configured by a dust molding body. The U-shaped core piece 32m has a part opposite to end surfaces of the pair of the winding portions 2a and 2b; and includes a side base portion 322 disposed so as to be laid between the pair of the winding portion 2a and 2b without being covered by the winding portions, a pair of middle portions 321 projecting out from the side base portion 322 so as to be respectively disposed in the pair of the winding portions 2a and 2b and having an end surface opposite to a gap, a side extending portion 3223 extending from the side base portion 322 in a direction intersecting an axial direction of the middle portion 321, and a center projecting portion 3225 which projects out to the opposite side to the middle portions, from a center area in an aligning direction of the pair of the middle portions 321 in the side base portion 322. |
