PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing selection device of a printer capable of properly stopping rotation of a selection wheel, and capable of also improving its operability, by further improving a rotational click as a click feeling transmitted to fingers of an operator when selecting a printing character.SOLUTION: By paying attention to the fact of forming a plurality of click engaging-disengaging parts (click engaging-disengaging recessed parts 24) in a side surface part of a knob 20, an operation member 12 comprises a knob 20 capable of rotary operation, a knob shaft 21 operable by the knob 20 and provided with a driving projection 25 capable of rotatingly driving a selection wheel by engaging with an inner peripheral engaging groove of the selection wheel and an indicator 22 movable in the axial direction integrally with the knob shaft 21 and the knob 20, and the plurality of click engaging-disengaging parts 24 are formed in its side surface part where the knob 20 is opposed to the knob shaft 21, and a click arm 30 for engaging with/disengaging from the click engaging-disengaging parts 24 is provided in the indicator 22. |
