The present invention relates to a label separator and a label separating method and, more specifically, to a label separator, capable of separating a label from a label sheet including first and second release papers attached to the rear side. The label separator includes: a first cylinder body; a first piston reciprocating by being inserted into the first cylinder body; a first shaft vertically moving while absorbing a first release paper of the label sheet; a first flange combined with an end of the first piston, and delivering the movement of the first piston to the first shaft by fixing the first shaft; a second cylinder body; a second piston reciprocating by being inserted into the cylinder body; a second shaft vertically and horizontally moving while absorbing a second release paper of the label sheet; and a second flange combined with an end of the second piston, and delivering the movement of the second piston to the second shaft by fixing the second shaft. The present invention is capable of providing convenience to workers by easily separating labels by extracting the label sheet through the vertical movement of the shaft and removing the release paper from the label sheet through horizontal movement while increasing the efficiency of label separation work by automatically collecting the removed labels. |
