The present invention relates to an umbilical cord cutter having electronic recording means which includes a pressurization cutting bar, a mother-side gripper, an infant-side gripper, and a holder. On one end portion of the pressurization cutting bar, a knife blade is installed. The other end portion of the pressurization cutting bar is connected to an electronic display having a switch button and a signal button. On one surface, a pick is fixated to match the infant-side gripper. One end portion of the holder is connected to the mother side gripper and the infant side gripper. An inner wall sliding slot on the other end portion of the holder matches the pressurization cutting bar. The signal button on the electronic display matches the holder. The whole operation process can be seen through a large opening. At first, an umbilical cord is hold by two grippers and then is cut by pushing the pressurization cutting bar with hands. Therefore, the umbilical cord cutter can cut an umbilical cord in an easy manner, has an excellent cutting effect, does not require much effort, and can prevent blood from splashing. Accordingly, the umbilical cord cutter is beneficial to metal and physical health of doctors and nurses and can prevent infection caused by leaving an end portion of the umbilical cord long. The umbilical cord cutter has the electronic display, which can record, display and store birth time information of an infant. A person can permanently store the umbilical cord cutter as a permanent souvenir after washing and disinfecting the same. |
