PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine system, a sewing machine and a program which can facilitate the work for searching for a necessary spool when exchanging threads during sewing and which can be easily realized.SOLUTION: The sewing machine system comprises: a housing case 20 having a plurality of housing parts 21 obtained by dividing a space into a lattice form; a detection part 33 for detecting the kind of a spool 100 housed in the housing part 21 and a housing position in the housing case 20 in association with each other; a detection result transmission part 34 for transmitting a detection result detected by the detection part 33 to a sewing machine; a sewing machine 10 formed separately from the housing case 20; a detection result reception part 13 provided in the sewing machine 10 for receiving a detection result from the detection result transmission part 34; and a display 11 for displaying the kind of the spool to be necessary during sewing and the housing position in the housing case 20.
