PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, when documents and luggage are to be shipped for residents and service users in autonomous communities and enterprises, various departments ship the documents and the luggage to the same destination at timing different from one another, thereby requiring individual shipment cost respectively in prior art.SOLUTION: The document requiring no prompt shipment is pooled in a server computer by making electronic data of the document and the destination and shipment limit date information into one set. With respect to the luggage which cannot be handled as the electronic data, the destination and shipment limit date information only is pooled in the server computer, and is stored at a shipment operation point with a tag written with the information. A system software refers to the shipment limit date information of the server computer, and picks up the document and the luggage whose shipment limit dates have arrived and put them together for each destination so as to be shipped. This leads to the reduction of the number of shipment times, and reduces the labor and time of the shipment operation and the cost required for the shipment. |
