PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit deterioration of heat radiation performance in a battery cell.SOLUTION: A battery module 10 includes: a battery body 11; and a first end plate 12 and a second end plate 13 which sandwich the battery body 11. The battery body 11 includes: battery cells 20 which are provided in a parallel manner; and heat transfer plates 30 which are provided so as to alternate with the battery cells 20 in a parallel manner. Each heat transfer plate 30 has a heat absorption part 31 having a rectangular plate shape; and a heat radiation part 32 which bends from one end of the heat absorption part 31 in a thickness direction of the heat absorption part 31 and has a rectangular plate shape. The heat radiation part 32 extends from the heat absorption part 31 to the second end plate 13. An elastic member 51 is provided between the first end plate 12 and the battery body 11.
