PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a bidirectional driving mechanism of a gas circuit breaker.SOLUTION: A driving-side electrode, a driven-side electrode and a bidirectional driving mechanism portion are provided in a sealed tank (21). The bidirectional driving mechanism portion includes a driving-side rod (10), a driven-side rod (18), a rotating lever (12) that moves the rods in opposite directions and a guide (19) that regulates the movement of the rods. A driving-side movable pin (15) is inserted into each of a first groove cam (11) included in the driving-side rod (10) and a second groove cam (13) included in the rotating lever (12), the rotating lever (12) is rotated by the movement of the driving-side rod (10), and the driven-side rod (18) is driven in a direction opposite to the drive-side rod (10). Thereby, a driven-side arc electrode (5) connected to the driven-side rod (18) is driven in a direction opposite to a driving-side arc electrode (4) connected to the driving-side rod (10). |
