PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of ensuring that error information is stored even if power is instantaneously interrupted without waiting for the shutoff of an engine control unit.SOLUTION: An engine control unit 30 comprises: an error detector 71; a RAM 83; an EEPROM 87; a RAM write processing unit 74; and an EEPROM write processing unit 75. The error detector 71 detects abnormality of an engine. The RAM 83, which is a volatile storage unit, is capable of storing therein error information that is information relating to the abnormality detected by the error detector 71. The EEPROM 87, which is a nonvolatile storage unit, is capable of storing therein the error information. The RAM write processing unit 74 writes the error information relating to the abnormality to the RAM 83 if the error detector 71 detects the abnormality. The EEPROM write processing unit 75 writes the error information stored in the RAM 83 to the EEPROM 87 if an engine revolving speed is below a predetermined trigger revolving speed after temporarily starting the engine. |
