PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high place work safety belt which has a tough and light-weight constitution, good usability, and safety.SOLUTION: The safety belt according to the invention includes: an openably/closable hook; an attachment metal fitting; and a rope connecting the hook and the attachment metal fitting. The rope includes: a bellows part including a bellows structure which is arranged in the center and is stretchable/contractable in a longitudinal direction; a binding part bound on both ends of the bellows part. The bellows part is configured such that plural elastic yarns are inserted and knitted in the longitudinal direction into a belt-like body composed of a first layer and a second layer knit-manufactured by a non-stretchable yarn, plural first layer sew-fastened parts, in which an elastic yarn knitted in a stretched state on the first layer side of the belt-like body is sew-fastened in a width direction, are arranged in the belt-like body longitudinal direction, plural second layer sew-fastened parts, in which an elastic yarn knitted in a stretched state on the second layer side of the belt-like body is sew-fastened in a width direction, are arranged in the belt-like body longitudinal direction, and the first layer sew-fastened parts and the second layer sew-fastened parts are arranged alternately in the belt-like body longitudinal direction. |
