FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: thymoquinone is extracted from a sample, and the extract is filtered and centrifuged. Analysis is performed by capillary electrophoresis in a quartz capillary with an effective length of 0.5 m and an inner diameter of 75 mcm. Analysis is performed using an aqueous electrolyte containing 0.4% boric acid, 0.05% sodium tetraborate, 6% isopropanol and 6% ethanol, with a positive voltage polarity.
