The present invention relates to a mobile terminal which more considers user convenience to realize use of a terminal. The mobile terminal comprises: a first body unit on which a user input unit is arranged; a second body unit connected to a rotary shaft of the first body unit to rotate and move; a display unit arranged on a front surface of the second body unit; a camera module arranged on at least one surface among the front and a rear surface of the second body unit to photograph an image; and a control unit to control the camera module. The control unit operates the camera module to photograph an image when the second body unit rotates and moves towards the first body unit, and an angle between the second body unit and the first body unit is smaller than or equal to a first angle and larger than or equal to a second angle, stops the camera module from photographing the image when the angle between the second body unit and the first body unit is smaller than the second angle, and displays the image photographed by the camera module on the display unit when the second body unit is returned to make the angle between the second body unit and the first body unit larger than or equal to the first angle. |
