The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for providing music inserted into a video and advertisement to provide music which is inserted into a video with an advertisement on the basis of a music sharing service. The apparatus for providing music inserted into a video and advertisement comprises a music sharing server including: a content generating unit which generates music sharing content for providing music inserted into a video and advertisement of an advertiser; an access address generating unit which generates an access address for accessing the music sharing contents; an access request receiving unit which receives an access request of a user terminal based on access address information displayed on the video; a content transmitting unit which transmits the music sharing contents of the access address to the user terminal; and a shared music providing unit which provides advertisement of the music sharing contents and a reproduction service of music. According to the present invention, music inserted into a video is advertised through a video, and the music and advertisement are provided together, thereby improving the advertisement effect.
