<p>Appliance for washing floors, comprising: - a chassis equipped, at the front, with a scrubber roller (2) and, at the rear, with means for moving it over the floor; - at least one nozzle (5) for spraying water vapour, said nozzle (5) being carried by a carriage (6) that executes alternate transverse movements and can be connected to a source for producing water vapour, by means of a flexible hose (9); characterized in that the scrubber roller (2) is secured to mechanical means that allow, at the start of each cycle of movement of the appliance, the arrangement of a new clean strip of the part (3) for scrubbing at and along the lowest generatrix (perigee) of the cylindrical scrubber roller (2), this new clean strip thus scrubbing the floor over virtually all of the "outward" path of the appliance and over all of the "return" path thereof.</p> |
