The device has an inner shell (1) and an outer shell (2) together forming an annular space for retaining bulk products. An electrical heating unit heats the inner shell. Thermocouples (3) measure temperatures of the shells. A heat flow measuring unit is introduced into the inner shell by the heating unit. The heating unit includes a circulating unit to circulate an electrical current in the inner shell. Two disks (7) close the annular space in two ends in a watertight manner. Supports (4) are made of rigid PVC foam. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring a thermal conductivity of bulk products.
