PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which can detect a next reservation program even when a character string is added to a program name in association with a special program and the like, and to provide a program reservation method of the recorder.SOLUTION: A recorder 100 includes a control section 24 for performing control for detecting a broadcast program which is broadcast next to a prescribed broadcast program as a next reservation program in response to the program name of the prescribed broadcast program in an electronic program guide. The control section 24 performs control to acquire the same character strings from the program names of the plurality of broadcast programs in the electronic program guide, and performs control to detect the next reservation program in a state where the acquired same character strings are excluded. |
