PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse element capable of safely opening an electric circuit against an abnormality such as water leakage.SOLUTION: A fuse element includes a fuse element 11, and an electrode 12 that is arranged in close vicinity to the fuse element 11 and that is made of a metal smaller in ionization tendency than the fuse element 11. Thus, for example, when water intrudes between the fuse element 11 and the electrode 12, an electric circuit is safely opened because a current rating of the fuse element 11 is decreased due to an electric corrosion action. |
