PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a central part of a cooking surface to a high temperature and surrounding areas thereof to a low temperature and facilitate confirmation that the surrounding areas are kept under a low temperature in cooking with weak fire.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a burner cover 11 comprising slant surfaces 12 and 13 formed from a slant surface end of a roof-like part 11a toward an extended line and red heat parts 14 and 15 having openings with many ports. The red heat parts are constituted by forming many ports at an extended portion of a metallic plate forming the slant surfaces. Applying heat through heat conduction from the slant surface of each of the roof-like portions together with applying heat via combustion gas convection passing through many ports at the red heat parts to cause the red heat parts to show a high temperature fast and further cause the red heat parts to become red heated state and the red heat parts are set in such a way that an increasing temperature through combustion gas convection at the inner red heat part 14 may become high as compared with that of the outer red heat part 15. When cooking with weak fire is carried out, an outside heating is decreased and only the inner red heat part is kept under red heated state. |
