PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small diameter end mill capable of performing cutting processing of a hard brittle material with high efficiency, and acquiring a processed surface with high quality.SOLUTION: A small diameter end mill comprises a columnar blade part 2 whose blade diameter is equal to or less than 6.0 mm, on the columnar blade part, plural bottom blades 6a to 6f whose tip end is a sector shape and blade grooves are alternately formed in a circumferential direction. A cutting blade part 2 has an oil hole 5 on a center, and a bottom blade part 2 comprises: first bottom blades 7a to 7f being linear edge cutting blades, on which cutting surfaces 9a to 9f and flank surfaces 10a to 10f cross each other; and second bottom blades 8a to 8f having arc shape edges as cutting blades, on which the flank surfaces 10a to 10f and outer peripheral surface 13 cross. |
