Provided are an NFC antenna module and a portable terminal having the same, the NFC antenna module having a printed circuit board inserted in a radiation sheet thereof or a radiation field formed on the lower surface and at a side part of the portable terminal, thereby improving the antenna characteristics while solving the problem of mounting space shortage in a small-sized portable terminal. The provided NFC antenna module comprises: a printed circuit board; a first radiation sheet, which has a first pattern formed along the outer periphery of a central part and is connected to the printed circuit board; and an electromagnetic wave shielding sheet stacked on the printed circuit board and the first radiation sheet.
