The present invention is to offer a control method for a mobile terminal by applying control commands to a touch-sensitive unit provided on a side of the terminal, which may include: a main body comprising a front part and a side part; a display unit which includes a first region provided in the front part and a second region that is connected to the first region and is provided on the side part; and a control unit which outputs screen information having a different direction from an output direction of screen information including information related to the screen information at least on a part of the first region when a touch of a previously set method with respect to the second region is sensed in a state in which screen information related to a function running in the terminal is displayed in the first region, wherein the screen information having the different direction is displayed at least on a part of the first region corresponding to the touch of the previously set method with respect to the second region. |
